MaestroGen DNA Ladders, comprising of fragments of specific base pair length, are available for estimation of molecular weights from 100 bp to 10 Kb. For easy determination of band size, several DNA Ladders include bands that are two to three times more intense.

02002-500 AccuRuler 100 bp Plus DNA ready-to-use Ladder is suitable for sizing linear double stranded DNA fragments from 100 bp to 3,000 bp. A unique combination of a number of proprietary plasmids digested with appropriate restriction enzymes and PCR products to yield 12 fragments, suitable for use as molecular weight standards for agarose gel electrophoresis. The 500 bp and 1,500 bp bands have increased intensity to serve as reference points. The approximate mass of DNA in each band is provided (assuming a 0.5 μg / 5 μl load) for approximating the mass of DNA in comparably intense samples of similar size.
